A Way Out

When temptations entice you, and
bad thoughts enter your mind,
take action and reject them,
for a warm and welcoming spot in
your heart they long to find!
Let not temptation overpower you,
and before it is too late,
get out your spiritual rake
and remove the temptations
before they start to germinate.
Resist the temptations
by the Lord’s cleansing blood…
Entertain not wicked thoughts
that come to take root,
rather nip them in the bud!
Clean the garden of your heart
from seeds of contamination.
Evil thoughts must be weeded out!
Jesus has equipped you and I to
stand up against temptation.

‘…God is faithful.
He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it.
When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it.”

HI Chris, I so, agree with you that we cannot hold up to temptation without the blood of Jesus…Yes, God is so, faithful in making away for us and when we resist the temptation and make our stand we find victory through our Lord and Savior…One of my favorite verses is “Submit therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you, draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you”…Hallelujah!
